Gwen, a native of Western Pennsylvania, graduated from Deer Lakes High School and went on to gain a BS in elementary education from Slippery Rock State College. Gwen has taught preschool, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grade, and was on staff with the Christian Recreation Program which is located in Valencia, PA, for many years.
Gwen moved to Ligonier in 1999, began working in the LCCC kitchen in 2001, assumed the housekeeping position in 2002, and then became registrar for the summer camps in 2004. In 2024 she is enjoying a long awaited retirement but we are thankful she continues to work part time in the registrar role. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord in this capacity.
