Maggie Jackson

Adventure Coordinator

Maggie joined the summer staff at Ligonier in 2009 and spent two summers on Adventure Staff and then two more as programming staff. At this time she was a student at The University of Akron where she would complete her B.A. in integrated language arts but has since never taught in a typical classroom setting. After college Maggie spent much of her early to late twenties working in college ministry and traveling back and forth to Haiti to work with farmers there in repairing the soil.

In 2014, she married Patrick Jackson (yes, Ligonier Camp’s Summer Camp Director) and they now have two children, Millie and Finnegan. Patrick and Maggie were working to build a coffee shop in Akron, Ohio in 2019 but God had other plans. When the opportunity for both of them to work at Ligonier Camp was presented, they jumped at the chance. Maggie is an avid rock climber, book reader and cream pie enthusiast.
