Hailing from Akron, OH, Patrick joined Ligonier’s staff in 2020 after God re-aligned his plans to open a coffee shop back home. He spent eight years working at a Christian camp in Ohio, and has had a passion for camp ministry ever since. It was in his first year as a camp counselor that he felt the call to vocational ministry, and he went on to complete his MA of Christian Studies through Trinity International University while serving as a college ministry intern at the Chapel in Akron. He also has experience as a middle school youth pastor and counselor in a youth corrections facility.
All the credit for his connection to Ligonier goes to his wife Maggie, who worked at Ligonier Camp for four summers while she was in college. They both love going on adventures and have two children, Millie and Finnegan. If he’s not in the office, there’s a good chance he’s out exploring the woods, on his kayak with a fishing pole or at the local disc golf course.
