Family Camp Staff Positions

 family camp staff POSITIONS

This unique group of summer staff ensures that families are able to experience and enjoy all that Ligonier Camp has to offer. Our Family Camp Staff care for families, facilitate daily activities, and oversee kid-specific programming and childcare that allows parents to attend seminars, teaching, and socials designed just for them. Otherwise family camp staff create, oversee, and manage experiences and opportunities for families to play, learn, and grow together. These staff members may find themselves planning “theme nights,” hunting crayfish in a stream, sharing testimonies at a campfire, serving meals, working through devotions with parents and their kids, or officiating a parents vs. kids contest in anything from soccer to trivia. These positions involve a diverse array of responsibilities and require individuals who are able to “think on their feet,” take initiative, and make sound decisions. Most importantly, family camp is a chance for our staff to engage their creativity for the purpose of encouraging and equipping families to move forward together on their journey as disciples of Jesus.

Family Camp Staff must be a minimum of 19 years of age or one year of college completed at time of employment, a committed Christian involved in ongoing personal spiritual growth, and desire to see the summer as a ministry of outreach to families and children.
