LCCC Summer Camp Programs & Employment
Classic Camp
Classic Camp is our most popular summer camp experience at Ligonier for campers ages 8-17. Classic campers are housed in cabins of 8 with two staff members per cabin. With options for one week or two weeks, campers can enjoy a variety of activities, including Bible studies, archery, caving, rock climbing, campfires, a day at the lake, games, crafts, and various other adventure challenges.
Little Ligs
Little Ligs camp is uniquely designed for young or first-time campers ages 6-8, where campers experience two nights intended to provide fun, faith-building opportunities for younger children. Little Ligs campers are housed in cabins of 8 campers with 3 staff members per cabin. They participate in many of the same activities as the Classic Camp adjusted to be geared toward their age group, such as creek hikes, pool time, group games, archery, arts & crafts, Bible study, silly skits, dance, songs, and campfires.
Next Level
Next Level is an adventure-packed camp experience designed for older campers ages 12–17, operated through the Joshua House. Next Level campers enjoy the comfort of air-conditioned dorm-style rooms that accommodate eight campers and two dedicated staff members.
Adventure is at the heart of Next Level — campers take on thrilling experiences like ziplining, white water rafting, mountain boarding, high ropes courses, climbing, and overnight camping. They’ll also enjoy favorite Classic Camp traditions such as snacking at the HUB, camp-wide games, and Lig Live and the chance to build lasting friendships with other teens who share their passion for adventure and faith.
Family Camp
Ever wish you could do all the great things your campers talk about during the ride home from summer camp? Now you can! Ligonier Camp is proud to offer a Family Camp for parents and children to share the traditional Ligonier Camp experience together. Try everything from tubing to the zip-line, attend family-centered Bible studies, and sing and dance at our high-energy evening program, Ligonier Live. Enjoy an adults-only dinner while the kiddos gather for dinner and a movie as well as a themed dinner where families get to show off their creative costuming.
Families will enjoy the care of our incredible staff, who are here to help with the day’s activities. With separate kids’ programming and adult sessions, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and children alike will enjoy all that camp has to offer!
Summer employment opportunites
Lives of individual campers, entire families, and members of our staff have all been changed here at camp. As part of this special Ligonier Camp Staff community, you will be challenged mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Our commitment is to invest in our staff, equipping them not just for a summer of ministry at camp, but for a lifetime of Christ-centered ministry in the workplace, neighborhood, church, and home.
Most years, Ligonier Camp hires over 100 people to come share in a summer of ministry. College students dedicate themselves to serving families, youth groups, and individual campers as mentors, outdoor adventure facilitators, and disciple-makers.
At the same time, they acquire and refine valuable skills and experience in leadership, decision-making, instruction, and problem-solving. Likewise, high school students who love camp and are not afraid of hard work serve behind the scenes as Counselors-in-Training, or “CITs.” CITs keep camp moving while getting their first taste of ministry.
